The mount itself was intact
"The mount itself was intact but it did not fit my Cateye 7 computer. My computer is old (bought in 2003 but still running fine) so the manufacturer must have modified it slightly but kept the name and model number. I was surprised that a mount was even available and was pleased to find it at Planet Cyclery. Too bad it doesn't work for me. I know I should think about upgrading to a modern GPS computer but I'm close to 50,000 miles on the Cateye and would love to reach that milestone!"
