Powerful light, well priced

"I purchased this light to replace an older battery-operated model that is nearing the end of its service life. Typical usage is in urban riding with some--but sometimes not much--illumination from street lights. Even the lower of the two steady settings provides good lighting in an even pattern that extends well forward from the bike. It will prevent riding over potholes or the occasional partly flattened raccoon or opossum. So far, run time exceeds that promised in the specs. I prefer the bracket mount to flex straps, and Cateye sells the brackets separately for a reasonable price. I'm giving four instead of five stars only because the battery is apparently not replaceable."
