Durable and smooth

"The hellbender 70s are in between the 40 and 110 series and I prefer these as they are reliable, smooth and decently priced. The integrated headsets are fool proof as you just have to grease and plop them in. Just make sure you know the measurements for the top and bottom. I installed these on my ibis dv9 and have had no issues as my steering is precise and smooth."

Gravel Bike Headset Upgrade

"I purchased the Hellbender headset to replace the OEM one on my gravel bike. It was installed a few months ago and has been holding up well against rain, dirt and the added impact that riding off road on a rigid fork brings with it."

Replaced fork on Orbea Rise

"Replaced fork on Orbea Rise using stock headset but cheap plastic/rubber pressing ring could not lock it down, had a wobble....read this headset uses sealed bearings like the 110 version but got it for half the price...installed this 42/52, worked like a champ..."
