"Top tier quality and spectacular color! Smoothest spinning pedal out there!"
"Fantastic and beautiful piece of art. I would not used it if I would not need the best platform pedal ! Highly recommended. As it is an uk brand you must look for European reviews as mountain biker magazines or mountain biking uk. Big platform, lightweight and wonderful design and color"
"Pins are very short, and provide very little grip. Design of the pins is proprietary so you can't substitute anything else to customize grip. Broaching on the axles is unfinished and has large shards of metal in the 8mm hole that collect dirt/moisture and promote corrosion. Not a very good pedal given the premium price."
"love the look and hopefully it holds up bike park days"
"These Burgtec pedals have been so far with about 120 miles on my Yeti SB150. Burgtec is a UK brand and is becoming more popular here in the US. I did lots of research of flat pedals and current have Race Faces Atlas pedals. The Altas have been solid for years, I dont like the large bump at the inside pedal to house the large bearing. I also wanted a more concave platform. The MK5 has a nice concave design and mounts closer to the cranks for a slightly better Q-factor. They provide great grip with my Five Ten shoes. The MK5 is also made of 7075 aluminum! I was hoping the Burgtecs Kash bronze would match Foxs kashima coating but its a few shades darker."
