We designed the Super Air R from the ground up to push the boundaries of performance and versatility — starting with Spherical Technology™. Spherical Technology's Ball-and-Socket design, powered by Mips®, helps redirect impact forces away from the brain by allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. Throw in superior ventilation, a total weight that is 22%, or 144 grams, lighter than its predecessor, and an With Spherical Technology powered by Mips and our pioneering 2-click removable chin bar, the legacy continues with the Super Air R in an all-mountain package.

"Color is great fit is great. Take the online chin bar challenge. Yes chin bar is quickly attachable and detachable. Like 2 helmets in one. Fits securely and not heavy at all. Very breathable. Camera mount is included for top of helmet and chin mounts are also available online. Feels very secure."

"Good light helmet but once you break some of the parts in my case the bolt holding the visor snapped -they don't have available replacement parts. POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT… Bell Helmets? - -NEVER AGAIN! 👎👎👎👎👎"

Great, flexible helmet
"After a lot of research on convertible helmets, I finally decided on the Super Air R. I was attracted to the level of venting and what appeared to be a good face mask attachment mechanism. It lives up to everything I wanted. It's a very secure and comfortable full face with good visibility and breathability, and it's a top notch regular helmet when the face guard is detached. There's really no compromise here. It's not downhill rated, but I'm more trail/enduro and feel very comfortable wearing this lid. I will say reattaching the face guard is a little persnickety, but in no way a deal breaker."
Great fit, very comfortable and easily adjusted
"My Bell Super Air R helmet arrived fast with no issues. The helmet fits amazing. It comes with a larger set of cheek pads for A better fit if you have a narrower face. The dial adjuster is also adjustable with a simple pop in tab if you you are more comfortable with the dial being lower on the back of your head. This helmet also comes with a Bell sticker and a removable GoPro mount that clips onto the helmet."
