Good pads, and comfortable. Only
"Good pads, and comfortable. Only reason I give a 4 is the sizing. I measured my legs several times using the method provided and came the conclusion I need the medium. After using the pads three times I'm sure I should have bought a small. I have to pull them up so high on my legs that my chamois goes over them. They slide down easily. I could see buying them again, but sizing down. Really, I'll probably spend a little more on something else."

Comfortable, slim knee pads that
"Comfortable, slim knee pads that mold to your knee when they warm up to body temp. Perfect for wearing under long pants (the reason I wanted to try them)."

Good so far, the extra
"Good so far, the extra length at the thigh is nice. Material at back of knee is not as comfortable as another set of pad I have, but I think will get better after a few more rides."

Too tight and I did
"Too tight and I did use the size chart. I like it tight but this off. Size up"

Nice pads but they ran
"Nice pads but they ran a little tight. Wound up going one size up from what the 7IDP size chart recommended"

Initial Review
"I purchased a pair of 7 iDP Transition Knee Pads - Black a few months ago and liked them enough to purchase another pair recently. They are comfortable, the articulation helps, but I think if there was a cut out behind the knee, it would improve comfort and minimize movement. Mine have a tendency to come down, it's a little annoying, but definately not a deal breaker. One of the strong points is these pads are breathable and in hot weather they are comfortable especially once you get warmed-up. One of the strange things that has happened, is when I washed them the pads deform slightly, but when I put them on after a short time they took their original shape and protection. Another very strong feature is the string helper at the top of the pad to assit in pulling the pads on, but I think there should be one at the bottom to pull them off as well. Anyway, the quality, fit, finish and price make them very attractive for the typicall Mt. biker. I would rate them initially a B+. We will see how they fair after a few dozens rides. . ."

I love 7iDP knee pads
"I love 7iDP knee pads and have been wearing the Sam Hills for several years. Bought these for my wife, and she agrees that you end up forgetting you're even wearing them. They use Sastec CE level 2 body armor, the same thing you'll find in motorcycle protection products."

Pleasantly surprised by these knee
"Pleasantly surprised by these knee pads, out of the box they seemed like they would be too hard of a surface to be comfortable but once fitted and pedaling they fit well and they actually stay up on my legs better than other pads due to the long knee sleeve. Happy with the purchase especially at sale price!"
