"Perfect bars for what I wanted. Really like that there is a little less back sweep than my previous bars to help balance weight better. Feel great on the trail would recommend."

"These look nice as they have a quality appearance and finish. I had to upgrade my stem to be able to run these, but they added a ton of leverage and character to my Trek Fuel EX E. I highly recommend these as a budget alternative to full carbon bars."

"I have a carbon part and an aluminum pair, the marking were a little off on the aluminum pair but no big deal, otherwise a great deal"

Q&A

I've read through all the reviews on this TAG Metals T1 bars, and no one is mentioning the stiffness and compliance (or lack of) of these bars. Which got me worried these bars lack compliance. I visited the manufacturer's website, and they claim these bars are to be used from Trail all the way to DH riding, and the feel resembles their carbon bars. Yet more hinting these alloy bars are quite stiff. I watched two reviews on Youtube, and both state this bar is stiff. At somewhat lighter 350gms, is this bar as stiff as a carbon bar? I'm in search for an alloy compliant bar, such as the Burgtec Ride Wide Endure bar or the Race Face Aeffect35, both of which weigh around 330gms and are quite compliant.
I bought these bars recently. They feel stiffer than my PNW’s on my other bike but, those are 31.8. These bars are definitely stiff and I’ve been on 2 different 12-15 mile rides and I didn’t feel overly fatigued by them. If I have one complaint, I would prefer a slight bit more back sweep.
