Description

SRAM X01 DH X-Horizon 10 Speed Rear Derailleur - OEM

Advisory* This product is OEM packed and not in original manufacturers packaging.

  • Comes with OEM Gray decals rather than Red Decals

  • SRAM’s DH specific derailleur is designed to provide fast and precise shifts for the close ratio cassettes used on DH race bikes, 4X and jump bikes.
  • X-HORIZON architecture provides more responsive shifting
  • X-ACTUATION with more cable pull provides better system performance and durability
  • X-HORIZON eliminates ghost shifting, very commonly found on DH bikes
  • EXACT ACTUATION (MTB 10-speed) variant allows upgrade to existing bikes in the aftermarket
  • X-SYNC: A CNC-machined, “wide tooth, narrow tooth” pattern is repeated around the entire XX1 chainring, perfectly mirroring the 1X11 XX1 specific chain’s inner and outer links for maximum control
  • ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH: Designed for X0 and X9 families, Type 2.1 rear derailleur delivers maximum drivetrain stability—even through the most punishing technical terrain. With Roller Bearing Clutch™ technology, SRAM Type 2.1 eliminates derailleur bounce and chain slap without sacrificing precision
  • CAGE LOCK: With CAGE LOCK™ technology in the rear derailleur, wheel removal and installation—as well as chain installation—becomes faster and simpler. Just pushing the cage forward to create slack and lock it into place

Please note: This item is OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) but not in original packaging. This means it is packaged in a simple, no-frills manner, without the branded retail box or detailed instructions typically found in consumer-packaged products. The item itself is brand new and of the same high quality as its retail-packaged counterpart, ensuring you receive the same performance and reliability at a more affordable price.

Great price, but do research elsewhere before purchasing

"Purchased this derailleur to replace a sloppy medium cage X7. This is a much better derailleur and worth going from 2x10 to 1x10. The only thing I did not know until I opened the box and saw the sticker on the OEM product was that it only went up to 28 tooth, so I needed to buy a new cassette to replace my 32 tooth. The site just said it was great for legacy replacements, so this limitation was not on the site's description. Still, it was such an upgrade made affordable to me that I am very happy with the purchase. Hopefully I can use the 32 tooth cassette on another bike."

    Q&A

Im confused. I thought all 10sp Sram was Exact Actuation, but picture says X-Actuation (where it bolts to hanger). If it is 10sp X-Actuation, then what shifter can successfully shift this? Thanks!
The SRAM GX DH 10-speed shifter, or the X0/XO1 DH 10-speed shifter. Spacing is weird on the cassette so measure your chain width. You have to use an 11 or 12 speed chain on this. Nate Hills has a set up with a 12 speed sram Transmission chain on a similar gear set (see YT). I run an 11.
