The Leatt Dual Axis Knee Guards are CE certified and score a total of 25 points on the Leatt protection rating system. The pivoting Dual Axis full hard shell knee & shin protection offers the most protection of all Leatt knee guards. They are slim which allows for a under the boot fit, lightweight, comfortable and offer great ventilation.

What is the meaning of Dual Axis? Are there any photos of the backside?
The two hinges on the sides of the knee cap. There is a black round/ball cap over the knee, then a hinge on the top and bottom for the upper and lower (white) portions of the guard. The hard plastic parts bend in two spots. They are very comfortable.
