Great starter bike

"Got this bike about a year ago, threw some basic upgrades on it ( maxis tubeless tires, chester pedals and grips) it rides very smooth, quiet and handles your local trails with no problem. . . . I do wish these shipped with an air fork."

Great budget FS bike. Saddle

"Great budget FS bike. Saddle is decently comfy, Dropper works well, shifters are solid and smooth. Cranks could be better quality and you will eventually want to upgrade that front coil shock but it has great geometry and perfect for the trails. A tad bit heavy but it still climbs well."

Order x2 of these Bikes.

"Order x2 of these Bikes. I had a GT Zaskar hardtail 26' before. This is just a massive upgrade - the bike handles really well. From a service perspective - excellent. The Bike came well packaged and semi assembled - did not even take half an hour to assemble both. The order tracking spot on. Thank you,"

Great Bargain.

"Spent an extra $200 on tubeless tires and Rockshox 35 Rl Gold shocks, and the bike for a total cost of $1200. You cant beat it and there isnt any other bike out there comparable to the base price you pay for the bike. Fits my needs perfectly. 39lbs as my setup sits so its not a lightweight."

As my first full suspension

"As my first full suspension mtn bike it came at a great price, easy to build out of the box, and amazingly after construction everything worked perfectly - that was impressive as I really thought I'd be doing a lot of adjustments. Components are as to be expected on a relatively budget bike, but so far seem adequate. Frame (L) seems great fit for me (5'11" 165lbs), and though on the heavy side works well to compensate for my crappy riding skills! Other than the weight, I think this is keeper and gets 4. 5 stars."

Absolutely blown away by the

"Absolutely blown away by the value of this GT!!!! They were the reason I got into cycling as a child so it's a shame to see them going out of business after all these years but I'm glad I can own a piece of their history. 2 things to keep in mind if you're considering this bike. . . most importantly, the Zeron fork is AIR! Which is a huge upgrade in my opinion. Secondly, the blue model that I received came with the Old School GT logo which looks much more classy and mature than the plain jane GT logo in the pictures. Haven't gotten a chance to take her for a spin yet because I have to true the front rotor (FedEx) but I can't wait to go for a ride! RIP GT. . . thanks for the lifetime of great bikes!"

Fast Shipping, Good Bike, specs a bit off.

"This bike is a chonky boy. Size Medium with pedals is 39 pounds. Luckily it has 180mm brake rotors, not 160 to stop it. Also, the fork is a Zeron 36 AIR fork, not a Zeron 35 coil fork. Rims are tubeless ready, tires are not. Color is listed as indigo. It fades from black in the front to slightly less black as you move rearward. Needs direct sunlight to get any hint of purple. Bike rides nice, the extra weight of the bike keeps it planted. Suspension is actually pretty good. Cues drivetrain is good, doesn't shift as fast as HG but it is beefy and crisp."

Bike arrives and excited to

"Bike arrives and excited to put it together, but no instructions on how to. Went on website to look for help and found a video but not for what I purchased. Decided to scan the QR code on the front wheel and the website it directed me to was shutdown. I still don’t know if I have the front wheel on correctly need to take to a bike shop."

Q&A

Trying to pump air into fork shock but don’t know how to do it. Is there a video showing how to do it?
Here's good overall video from GMBN: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG__UuR71lk
So the chainring is not removeable?
The chainring is removable. it is a direct mount style chainring.
Is the chainring GXP interface?
Hello Jonathan, These bike swill come with a Shimano 24mm bottom bracket interface.
What is the mounting width for the rear shock at the rocker pivot?
Hello Jonathan, We do not have the information at the moment. Please give us a little time and reach out to tims@cambriabike.com for further assistance with these questions.
Being right at 5'10" tall (maybe 5'11" depending on shoe sole thickness), would it be better to size down to a med frame or size up to a large frame?
Hello Bob, Frame size will be a little bit of a preference. A larger size frame will be more stable, and will give you more room to move without upsetting the weight-balance of the bike. The larger size will put the front wheel further in front of you, which gives the feeling of security and conversely, it will require more significant body movements when you WANT to shift the weight-bias of the bike. Think hard about your riding style and how active/intuitive you want it to be vs stable and speedy. You'll need to work a bit harder to muscle the larger bike around.
