Eliminated flats, saved rims
Been running the original Pro set on my bronson for better part of a decade. Never had a single puncture or sidewall issue since running cush core. Also has kept the stock raceface alloy rims alive despite many brutal seasons of california central coast rocks and lots of summer bike park abuse, rear is totally beat up but still holds air. I'd attribute it's lifespan to the inserts becuase never expected it to last this long, especially the way I ride. Just got a new set of cush core pro MX for my V10 on alloy reserve wheels for these reasons and vibration dampening effect provided by the inserts. At just over a pound weight penalty its no brainer.
