Really nice surface and diameter/thickness. What's neat about the taper of the grip (thicker and more ribs on the inner portion), is it gives you more options on where to put your hands on ascents and descents. The thinner and less compliant profile of the grip near the bar ends is nice for control and a precise grasp. Be mindful when ordering these, the grip is quite a bit wider on the tube than your standard grip, so your controls will likely need shifted inwards, towards the stem to get the full fit and availability out of these. They are very excellent, I rarely grab a pair better than these but I know in certain instances, some grips will rule the trail some days while others fall short. These leave nothing on the table as far as comfort, control, and style with ease of install.
