Seatposts

Seatposts allow you to adjust the height of your saddle as well as the angle that it sits at. An essential but often over looked bike component, a seat post can make a real difference to your ride. A carbon seatpost will help to smooth out your ride by absorbing vibrations from rough roads and tracks as well as saving you some weight.

Seatposts Buying Guide

There are a few things to consider when purchasing a seatpost for your mountain bike or road bike. Firstly, you'll need to decide whether you want a rigid seatpost or a dropper seatpost. Rigid seatposts are great for road and XC, while dropper seatposts are essential for trail and enduro riding. Next, you'll need to choose the right diameter for your seatpost. Most mountain bikes use 30.9mm or 31.6mm seatposts, while most road bikes use 27.2mm or 31.6mm seatposts. Make sure to measure the internal diameter of your frame before purchasing a seatpost. Finally, you'll need to decide on the length of the seatpost. This is largely dependent on your riding style and the height of your saddle. If you're unsure, it's always best to ask your local shop, or call our team of experts, and we'll be happy to get you riding.
