Production Privée 548 stem’s were developed with the help of Cedric Gracia. Three different versions were tested by CG before the final product was selected. Production Privée wanted to create a stem that was as stiff as possible so as to compensate for the huge forces that very wide bars create on current downhill bikes. The 548 Stem is a one-piece design using 7050 T6 aluminum alloy. This material allows for greater design freedom and gives superior mechanical abilities compared with lesser alloys.
