A great option for mountain bike rides of a few hours, the Kitsuma 7 Backpack from Osprey carries seven litres of kit in addition to the included 2.5 litre Hydraulics™ LT Reservoir. It features two side mesh pockets for items that need easy access, and a non-scratch top pocket for sunglasses or phone in addition to the main compartment.
The 2.5 litre Hydraulics™ LT Reservoir uses a large Slide-Seal opening to make filling up or cleaning as straightforward as possible, and the twin welded chevron baffles keep the water under control and stop it from sloshing around. The bite valve attaches magnetically to the sternum strap when not in use, an operation that can be achieved whilst riding without having to look away from the trail. The valve also has a lock to prevent any accidental leaks when not in use. The useful QuickConnect system allows the reservoir to be removed from the bag without having to unthread the hose from the sleeve.
