With the same full carbon rim as the range leading Vanquish RC6 Pro wheelset the Vanquish RC 6 Performance utilises our GP disc brake hub and Sapim XC-Sprint spokes to keep a tab on the price, promoting our industry leading to performance to an even greater gamut of riders. With blistering aerodynamics the Vanquish RC 6 Performance is a real wind cheating stalwart, working hard to bring you speed and predictable handling across all riding situations. A perfect road racer that excels on rolling and hilly terrain the Vanquish RC 6 Performance is also a great pick for efforts against the clock in TT’s and triathlons.
Industry leading carbon rim
The headline act of the Vanquish RC 6 Performance is certainly its rim. With its full carbon construction the 60mm deep, patented rim profile is wind tunnel sculpted and tweaked before being verified on the road to bring blistering speed that’s controllable even when the wind starts to blow. Accompanying its depth the Vanquish RC 6 Performance rim has an increased width that now balloons to 30mm. This new width works in tandem with our Vanquish rim profile to minimise aero penalties when using any tyre width from 23mm to 28mm thus reducing tyre choice headaches. The internal rim width then also helps to reap performance rewards. Featuring our pioneering 21mm measurement the tyre bed promotes superior tyre to rim mating, improving the tyre footprint resulting in lower rolling resistance and increased cornering grip.
Smooth rolling and reliable
An advanced rim would be pointless if it was negated by substandard hubs and a poor build so we’ve thrown our GP disc brake hub set into the equation before completing the build with the ultra reliable Sapim XC-Sprint spokes. Our GP hub takes the exact same, ultra-high grade bearings that we use range wide to ensure ultra smooth rotation and encases them in a full alloy hub shell that guarantees longevity and keeps weight to a minimum. A hand build then finalises the wheel package with our in-house mechanics ensuring that trueness, efficiency and ultimate quality control are ingrained throughout.
Multiple axle options available
The Vanquish RC 6 Performance comes as stock with either 12mm or 15mm thru axles at the front and 12mm at the rear. We also have a conversion available separately for standard quick release skewers allowing complete compatibility with any disc brake bike.
