Where the brake rotor is unhardened and the use of a resin pad is recommended, this range of EBC Brakes X-Country mountain bike replacement brake pads is the perfect choice due to low rotor abrasion features and it delivers long lifetime and excellent stopping power.
GOLD - CFA326HH
Not for use with a mountain bike where the rotors are for use only with resin pads. These pads will score the unhardened brake rotors. All EBC Brakes replacement mountain bike brake pads are made using magnetic stainless steel backing plates. Where required, EBC Brakes mountain bike brake pads come with improved strength retraction
RED - CFA326R
For downhill use the RED grade has a higher heat threshold but has the added benefit of not overheating the brakes with excessive heat transfer which would cause softening of your brake lines. Lifetime must be evaluated, these pads are designed for a few descents only, check wear after every ride to avoid running out of brakes. Supplied with heavy duty retraction springs in spring based systems.
